Chrysler Dream Cruiser 5: the last “custom” PT Cruiser?

The Dream Cruiser 5 debuted at the 2008 Woodward Cruise: this model will be / was available in the fall of 2008, with a two-tone black and white theme and new upper and lower solid billet aluminum grilles, individually milled and machined. New 17-inch SRT Design wheels fill the PT Cruiser’s large fenders. Chromed moldings provide subtle highlights, while newly designed “PT” door badges hammer home PT’s individuality. The paint job is designed to visually lower the roof.

Inside, the interior is gray with black, and boasts chromed ring air vents and gauges on the instrument panel. New seat fabric has a performance feel, detailed look and layered silver accents. A leather-wrapped steering wheel has bright silver accents. The price for all this was, in 2008, just $22,700 including destination for the standard engine, with an optional turbocharged version (no manual transmission available.) Standard equipment includes power windows, CD player, removeable rear seats, compass, air, front seat heaters, floor mats, satellite radio, cruise, and fog lights.
